The Des Moines Dinner Detective  

Friday, Jan. 20 | Embassy Suites by Hilton Hotel Des Moines Downtown 
This interactive murder mystery show features a story taking place in the present day and is based on a real cold case. Attendees will enjoy a delicious dinner while working to solve the mystery of who-done-it. Be warned … you may find yourself as a prime suspect to the murder as the detectives uncover clues!

An Evening with Dionne Warwick 

Saturday, Jan. 21 | Hoyt Sherman Place 
The legendary six-time Grammy Award-winner, Dionne Warwick, will share her voice with the crowd to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the historic Hoyt Sherman Place theater. Audience members will hear favorite tunes like “Say a Little Prayer,” “Don’t Make Me Over,” “Walk On By” and “Do You Know the Way to San Jose?”

Botanical Blues: Tony Bohnenkamp 

Sunday, Jan. 22 | Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden 
This week’s featured musician is Tony Bohnenkamp, a veteran singer and piano player known throughout DSM. His repertoire covers a wide-range of music — from Elton John to Garth Brooks, Journey and Johnny Cash. His performances are driven by audience requests, so come ready to pitch in a song idea of two you’d like to hear! Tickets can be purchased at the door, and food and drinks will be available to buy on-site from Trellis Café

WineFest Winter Wine & Dine Week 

Sunday, Jan. 22 – Saturday, Jan. 28 | Various Downtown Restaurants 
Don’t miss the first-ever Winter Wine & Dine Week in DSM! Participating eateries will serve up a full week of prix fixe food and wine pairings to enjoy over three courses. Dinners range from $40 to $65 per person, and wine add-ons are $20 to $35 each. Kemble — a 24-year-old jazz and blues singer, songwriter and pianist — will treat the audience to songs from her debut album “Dive Bar” including influence from Adele, Amy Winehouse, Alanis Morissette and Sade.
