Des Moines Symphony: Discover Symphonic Dance

Saturday, April 13 – Sunday, April 14 | Des Moines Civic Center
An experience unlike anything else! The BRKFST Dance Company will join the Symphony to perform their original choreography to Beethoven's Grosse Fuge, combining breakdancing with contemporary dance. The Symphony, under Maestro Joseph Guinta, will also perform Tchaikovsky’s Sleeping Beauty, Ravel’s Mother Goose and Prokofiev’s Romeo & Juliet.

Eat, Drink, Architecture

Sunday, April 14 | Various Downtown DSM Venues
New this year, the Iowa Architectural Foundation event will feature a shotgun start: Attendees can choose between four starting locations including the Iowa Taproom, Royal Mile, Hessen Haus and El Bait Shop. Participants will enjoy a walking tour of several Downtown DSM neighborhoods, including architectural commentary from a docent, plus food and drink samples at several stops along the route.
