Cityview’s Summer Stirs
Friday, July 21 | Historic East Village
Make your way to Historic East Village favorites like The New Northwestern, Quinton’s and The Purveyor during Summer Stirs. You’ll receive 10 drink tickets to use during this traveling cocktail party.

Friday, July 21 – Sunday, July 23 | Cowles Commons
With various FREE performances throughout the weekend, Bloom! is an opportunity for all ages to enjoy the arts in an outdoor setting. See performers on 14-foot-tall poles in a show inspired by the beautiful flowers of the Smokey Mountains.

Shakespeare on the Lawn
Sunday, July 23 | Salisbury House Gardens
Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night will be performed in the gardens each night at 7:30 p.m. Twelfth Night is a lighthearted story of mistaken identities, where Viola, a shipwrecked girl, disguises herself as her lost twin brother Tickets are still available for Sunday’s show.

Monkey Monkey Monkey / Local Bands, Brews & Bikes
Sunday, July 23 | Water Works Park
This weekly concert event at Water Works Park is family-friendly, and dogs are welcome, too! This week’s musical group is led by Monkey Monkey Monkey. Parking is available nearby, or bike in using the connected trail system. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket to sit on, grab a brew from the nearby pop-up Des Moines Biergarten located within the park and settle in for a fun afternoon!
