Advocacy

Advocacy at the Greater Des Moines Partnership centers on representing the interests of the region’s communities at all levels of government. Guided by the Government Policy Council (GPC), which is made up of Investors and Affiliate Chamber Members, we work to advance priorities that generate economic growth, drive business prosperity and support talent development. Through ongoing engagement with local, state and federal officials, and through initiatives such as DMDC, the annual advocacy trip to Washington, D.C., The Partnership ensures Greater Des Moines (DSM) speaks with a unified voice on the issues that matter most.
