Replenishment of Small Business Funds
The $484 billion interim emergency measure means funding for the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) and Small Business Association (SBA) Economic Industry Disaster Loans are set to be replenished.
Facebook Small Business Grants in DSM
Facebook’s small business grant applications are now open to residents of Polk County, which will receive $175,00 for 44 local businesses.
Iowa Economic Development Authority Resources
The Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) is gathering COVID-19 resources for small businesses and individuals across the state, including: Iowa Small Business Relief Fund, Iowa Tax Deferral and Iowa Targeted Small Business Sole Operator Fund.
COVID-19 Legislative Ask Line
The Ask Line, provided by Bravo Greater Des Moines, Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines, Mid-Iowa Health Foundation, Polk County Housing Trust Fund and United Way of Central Iowa offers nonprofits to connect free of charge with an attorney from Nyemaster Goode for 30 minutes on Thursday afternoons.
