Governor Reynolds has reopened the following businesses with restrictions statewide:
· Fitness Centers
· Tanning Facilities
· Massage Therapy
· Tattoo Establishments
· Race Tracks
· Drive-In Theaters
· Social and Fraternal Clubs
· Other Retail Establishments

DSM Forward Playbooks
Industry-specific and business function playbooks put together by the Greater Des Moines Partnership offer assessments and recommendations for economic recovery following the COVID-19 pandemic. Online industry playbooks include: agriculture, child care, education, events, arts and culture, government, gyms, health care, hotels, manufacturing, nonprofits, personal services, restaurant and food service, retail and utilities. Business function playbooks for finance, HR, IT, legal, operations and sales and marketing are also available.
Small Business Recovery Grant
The Small Business Recovery Grant is still accepting applications from sole proprietors or businesses with 0-30 employees restricted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Find more information here. Preference will be given to businesses not getting assistance from other grants.
Downtown Farmers’ Market
The Virtual Market Meet-Up will kick off at 8 a.m. Saturday, May 16 with live music from the Dueling Fiddles and a live cooking demo.
DSM Tutor Connection
The DSM Tutor Connection program is a web-based platform from The Partnership connecting families seeking tutoring for K-12 students with college students. Tutoring is conducted online and scheduled between families and tutors.
