One Economy Blueprint for Action Unveiling

The One Economy Blueprint for Action Unveiling, in partnership with The Directors Council, the Greater Des Moines Partnership, KCCI News and the Des Moines Register,will take place at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30. The presentation will guide both corporate and community solution driven conversations through breakout sessions for housing, education, employment, financial inclusion and health. 2020 Nominations Open for Iowa Latino Hall of Fame

Nominate an Iowa Latino for the Iowa Latino Hall of Fame, a youth for the Iowa Latinx Youth Leadership Award, a non-Latino or Latino Iowan for the Robert D. Ray Award for Equity and Justice or an LGBTQ person of color for the Iowa LGBTQIA Leadership Award. Nomination forms are available at humanrights.iowa.gov.

Impact Community Action Partnership — GRASP Program

The GRASP program is available for families to receive 50-70% off recreational activities through Des Moines Parks and Recreation. Find information here, including eligibility and documentation requirements.

7-Day DSM Local Challenge

Shop local the week of now through Wednesday, July 1. By participating in the 7-Day DSM Local Challenge, you are committing to supporting locally owned businesses by completing the online form. Pledge your support and encourage friends and family to support local businesses, too, while practicing social distancing.

Industry Playbooks + the DSM Forward Initiative

The DSM Forward industry and business function playbooks are currently available on The Partnership’s website. Industry playbooks include: Agriculture, Child Care, Construction & Development, Education, Events, Arts & Culture, Financial Services, Government, Gyms, Health Care, Hotels, Manufacturing, Nonprofits, Personal Services, Restaurant & Food Service, Retail and Utilities. Business function playbooks include: Finance, HR, IT, Legal, Operations and Sales & Marketing.
