Master Your Money Event
Peter Meyers of the Master Your Money Academy will hold an event today at 3:30 p.m. focused on financial freedom the racial wealth gap. Listen and learn from experts on how to manage, save and invest in your life.
Pick a local trail and run on Saturday, June 20, as part of the Capital City Pride and Pride Sports League DLL Pride Fun Run (5K). Dress up and show your pride using the hashtag #ShareYourDSMPride. Winners and results will be posted on Facebook. Find more information here.
Yoga in the Park
Emily Blair will lead Yoga in the Park, presented by UnityPoint Health – Des Moines on Saturday, June 20 via a virtual video.
Got Bias with Black Benatar
A lunchtime event with social justice drag queen and JEDI trainer Beatrice Thomas will be held from Noon until 1 p.m. Monday, June 22. The lunchtime training/performance explores role bias, privilege and creating positive change through a fun and interactive event.
