She is an award-winning management and leadership consultant, keynote speaker, published author and executive practitioner for inclusion efforts across corporate, government, nonprofit and education sectors.

Amilcar has more than 25 years of experience in inclusion, equity, leadership development and organizational change management. She and Be Equitable have partnered with organizations of all sizes to build equitable, healthy and thriving workplace cultures that work for all. Amilcar’s desire to bring about social change is rooted in her own identity as a proud Black Latina born and raised on the south side of Chicago. She is a sought after speaker and panelist, providing expertise on topics related to inclusion, workplace equity, and strategic organizational change. Prior to Be Equitable, Michael held senior leadership roles at Diversity Best Practices (now Seramount), AXA Financial, NBCUniversal, and Magic Johnson Enterprises.
