Danika Portz

Nashville pop artist, Danika Portz, blends Midwest heart with big city sounds. Her rhythmic, contemporary and soulful sound could be compared to Ingrid Michaelson, Katy Perry and Ed Sheeran.

Her vocals have been featured on CBS's Big Brother, NBC's Spartan, as well as the theme song for MTV's Virgin Territory. Danika has been interviewed and featured in Country Weekly, MusicRow and BILLBOARD Magazines.

Danika has performed at CMA Fest, Hard Rock Cafes and Casinos, many colleges and universities around the U.S., Nashville's legendary Bluebird Cafe and Wildhorse Saloon, has opened for hit acts like Martina McBride, David Cook, Dan+Shay, Michael Ray, A Thousand Horses and Dylan Scott, has played air shows around the U.S. and has headlined five Armed Forces Entertainment tours to SW Asia, the Mediterranean and Europe. Her hit single, My Superhero, was inspired by those military tours and she has teamed up with wounded Iraq War Vet and former “Dancing with the Stars” finalist, Noah Galloway's, No Excuses Charity to donate a portion of the proceeds from the song.
