Parranderos Latin Combo to Perform at Botanical Garden's Summer Concert Series, Social Irrigation Presented by EMC Insurance Companies on Thursday, June 28

DES MOINES, Iowa (June 27, 2018) — The Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden’s Social Irrigation summer concert series, presented by EMC Insurance Companies, will feature Parranderos Latin Combo Thursday, June 28. The Garden will remain open until 9 p.m., with music from 6-8:30 p.m. Trellis Café will be open from 5-8 p.m. Parranderos Latin Combo (PLC) is 14-member Latin music group based in Des Moines, exploring musical styles such as salsa, cumbia, samba and more to help keep Latin music alive and diverse in Iowa and beyond.

Social Irrigation presented by EMC Insurance Companies is the Botanical Garden’s summer-long Thursday night concert series. Each week, attendees can explore the Garden; play lawn games; see gardening demonstrations and purchase entrees, small plates, craft beers and signature cocktails from Trellis Café. Social Irrigation is included with the regular cost of admission (Members free; Adults $10; Seniors and Military $9; Students 4-17 $7; Children 3 and under free).
