Program Supports Small Business Growth Across Greater Des Moines

GREATER DES MOINES, IA (April 1, 2026) – The Greater Des Moines Partnership has announced that applications are now open for the 2026 Scale DSM Business Accelerator, a program designed to help small businesses strengthen operations, increase revenue and create jobs across the Greater Des Moines region.

Over the past four years, 56 small businesses have graduated from Scale DSM, gaining tools, management strategies and professional networks to support long-term success.

“Scale DSM gives business owners space to focus on the future of their business,” said Emily McLain, Regional Affiliates and Member Support Manager at The Partnership. “Participants gain practical strategies, peer connections and mentorship that support revenue growth, job creation and stronger business planning.”

The 2026 program will run June 23 through Dec. 8, with graduation scheduled for Dec. 15. Participants will engage in peer learning, business workshops and strategic planning designed to expand operations and strengthen leadership skills. Sessions will be held in person every other week during business hours and participants must attend each session.
