From Greater Des Moines to Capitol Hill: Join DMDC June 3 – 5
GREATER DES MOINES, IA (Jan. 9, 2026) – The Greater Des Moines Partnership will host its 47th annual DMDC trip to Washington, D.C., from Wednesday, June 3 through Friday, June 5, 2026. Registration is now open for the trip.
DMDC provides a unique opportunity for Greater Des Moines business and community leaders to advocate for regional priorities and economic development projects with one unified voice. Representing one of the largest chamber-led fly-ins in the country, the Partnership’s annual trip allows attendees to engage directly with Iowa’s Congressional Delegation, Congressional staff and members of the Administration, while also networking with fellow regional leaders.
“DMDC is one of the most important ways we elevate Greater Des Moines’ priorities at the federal level,” said Jenae Sikkink, Senior Vice President of Talent Development and Inclusive Strategies at the Greater Des Moines Partnership. “By bringing leaders together to share a unified regional message, we strengthen our relationships, advance critical policy conversations and reinforce Greater Des Moines’ role as a collaborative and forward-looking region.”
Trip options include charter air service with meals and ground transportation, baggage fees, two nights at the Hilton Capitol Hill Hotel, two luncheons, two breakfasts, one evening reception and one dinner reception. The full trip package is $2,750 for Investors and Affiliate Chamber Members and $3,050 for nonmembers. Pricing options vary for attendees who choose to fly separately or stay at an alternative hotel.
