That’s where SkyFleet Solutions is different. We’re changing and redefining industries like surveying, engineering and agriculture by making their work more efficient, safer and faster than traditional methods.

Drones in Key Industries

In surveying, we help surveyors collect data up to 40% faster while increasing accuracy at the same time. Using drone-based LiDAR and photogrammetry, we’re able to deliver highly detailed terrain models that flow directly into CAD and GIS workflows reducing the amount of time spent in the field and cutting down on revisits.

In agriculture, we’re helping reshape how chemicals are applied to crops. Our drones use precise, targeted application methods that reduce chemical waste and make operations safer. Unlike traditional crop dusters, drones fly lower and use their downward airflow to push the chemical directly into the canopy. This means less drift, better coverage and greater control over how much is being applied. The result is healthier crops, cost savings and a reduced environmental footprint.

SkyFleet Solutions was started by Gage and Devin with one simple idea to start a business that could make a difference. We bought our first drone, started talking to people and quickly saw how this technology could help companies solve real problems. What began as a small operation doing real estate photography has, over the past few years, grown into a full-service company working in the fields of agriculture, surveying and engineering.

The biggest key to our growth like any business has been being present, listening and evolving. We’ve built our reputation by taking feedback from clients and constantly improving our processes and deliverables. Every project helps us refine how we work, and we’re proud that our clients trust us not just for our technology, but for the accuracy and reliability of the data we deliver.

Being based in Greater Des Moines (DSM) has also been a huge advantage. The community here is strong and supportive people genuinely want to see local businesses succeed. Whether it’s a conversation that turns into a new connection or someone recommending us to another company, the local network has played a major role in our growth.

There’s a real sense of collaboration in Des Moines, and that’s helped us expand faster than we ever expected.
