The Importance of Setting Priorities

Formerly a consultant to entrepreneurs, aiding in setting priorities and accountability, Charise Flynn, the COO and chief firefighter is mindful of her own advice, difficult as that can be to heed under the daily onslaught. "The biggest thing I need is to be thoughtful, and not reactive," she explained. "You can be busy all day long, but if you don't map out what you need to accomplish, you can look back and find you were just busy, not productive. What I need right now is to keep reminding myself of the importance of that practice of setting priorities."
