Des Moines Corporate Games: Join the Olympic-Style Competition in DSM

"It's created a sense of community within our company." - McKenzie from R&R Realty Group

When the Des Moines Corporate Games comes up in interviews, Ryan, Iowa Soybean Association, uses it as a recruitment tool, utilizing it to showcase employee wellness and collaboration. In addition to those discussions with potential recruits, he also shows an informative video about the Corporate Games during the onboarding of new hires.

For employees, the Corporate Games is a way to connect with team members outside of work and network with other companies through friendly competition. Taking place across Iowa, the company-based games has four locations, including Des Moines, Corridor (Cedar Rapids/Iowa City), Quad Cities and Cedar Valley (Cedar falls, Waterloo). Companies are organized by divisions based on company size before competing in the evening and weekend events in June and July.

New in 2026 — the Drake Relays just announced a new partnership with the Corporate Games creating a separate competition for companies registered for the 2026 event. Participation will help expand corporate wellness opportunities in the Greater Des Moines (DSM) community. Learn more about the pilot program here
