Save the Date for Inclusion Summit on Nov. 10
GREATER DES MOINES, IA (July 27, 2021) – The Greater Des Moines Partnership’s 9th Annual Inclusion Summit has been scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 10. The hybrid event is scheduled to take place from 8 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the FFA Enrichment Center at the Des Moines Area Community College Ankeny Campus. Attendees will also have the option to join virtually.
This year’s theme will be “Equity in Action,” as attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about what equity means and how they can learn to remove systemic barriers and build equity-centered practices, systems and organizations.
“This year’s event will provide valuable insights and tools to help leaders learn more about how to foster diversity, equity and inclusion practices in their organizations,” said Sanjita Pradhan, Director of Diversity and Inclusion at the Greater Des Moines Partnership. “We strive to bring thought leadership and share best practices from national and local DEI experts to help us in our collective journey of building diverse and inclusive organizations.”
The Partnership’s Inclusion Award winner will be announced at The Summit. The award application period is still open, and the application can be downloaded on The Partnership’s website.
