David Leto Announced as New President of Palmer Group
Des Moines, IA – Palmer Group announces that David Leto has been promoted to President, effective October 1, 2017. Mr. Leto will succeed Austin Palmer who will remain with the company as Board Chairman.
Austin Palmer states: “I am extremely pleased to move forward with this next step in our leadership succession plan. Dave has been a strong contributor throughout his 13-year tenure at Palmer Group and has proven himself as an excellent leader these past 7 years in the Executive Vice President role. This promotion is a natural next step for Dave and I’m confident he will continue to be an excellent leader for our team, our contract employees and our valued clients.”
David Leto brings with him over 18 years of experience in the employment business. David joined Palmer Group in 2004 and has held multiple leadership roles during his time. In 2011, he was promoted to his latest position as Executive Vice President.
Mr. Leto is a native of Des Moines. He attended the University of Northern Iowa where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies in 1999. David started his career in Chicago working in the healthcare staffing and placement business.

David is active in our community. He was the 2017 JDRF One Walk Corporate Chair. He serves on cabinet positions for the Greater Des Moines Partnership and is a Board Member of the West Des Moines Leadership Advisory Board. Mr. Leto also serves as Vice President of the Des Moines Reciprocity Club and volunteers in a variety of leadership capacities at Holy Trinity Catholic Church and School in Beaverdale.
