Blue Compass Interactive To Create Charitable Website in One Day

December 4, 2014

This year, about 564,800 Americans are expected to die of cancer — more than 1,500 people a day. To help raise awareness for the second leading cause of death in the United States, Blue Compass Interactive has decided to make the most of their giving this holiday season, by donating a brand new website, to be launched in a single day, for Rally Against Cancer, a benefit for John Stoddard Cancer Center.

“It typically takes a web company months to strategize and develop a fully featured website,” said Drew Harden, President & Co-founder, “We will unleash our entire team of designers, developers and marketers to create and market an incredible new website in just 24 hours. We are excited to generate awareness for this great organization and worthy cause.”

So, how does a website in a day work?  Starting early on Thursday, Dec. 4, Blue Compass will host a kick-off meeting with the Rally Against Cancer team to determine goals and objectives, as well as the content architecture and creative design for the website. From there, all 25 full-time team members at the Blue Compass office will play an integral role implementing the website from start to finish.  The website will officially launch before team members retire home for the evening.
