High School Students Can Register Now for Business Horizons Summer Program
Business Horizons is on the horizon!
High school students interested in participating in a weeklong summer leadership and development program can register now for the July 17-21 camp at Central College in Pella, Iowa. The Iowa Association of Business and Industry (ABI) Foundation is excited to again offer this experience for students in grades nine through 12 during which they can make connections to the business world and grow their leadership skills in a team environment. At the beginning of the week, participants work together in teams to create a solution, or new Iowa product. From there, they launch their business and take part in an investor pitch, infomercial and “best product” competition.
In the past, more than 5,000 students have participated in Business Horizons, taking part in:
- Competitions with an entrepreneurial twist
- Teambuilding activities
- Business visits
- After hours activities
