YPC Gala

Each year YPC celebrates another year of success. During the YPC Annual Gala, young professionals and business leaders will join together to reflect, connect and further engage with Des Moines.

Sips, Samples and Sights

YPC is excited to host its annual Sips, Samples and Sights tour. Attendees will experience Downtown Des Moines (DSM) through a one-of-a-kind walking tour guided by the Iowa Architectural Foundation. During stops along the tour, attendees will enjoy free samplings of unique foods and eclectic wine and beer in addition to networking with 60+ like-minded young professionals. This event continues to be one of the highest-rated events YPC provides to members.

Public Service Symposium

YPC is joined by the Greater Des Moines Partnership, Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute, local public servants and legislative officials at the Public Service Symposium. There will be a combination of panel discussions and keynote speakers to answer your questions about serving as an official at the city, county, or state level, reaching out to local officials, and opportunities to run for office. This is the perfect opportunity to meet face-to-face with some of the individuals who shape our communities and to learn more about joining the appropriate boards and commissions that will help you engage in public service. 

Kick-Off Party

YPC also hosts an annual Kick-Off Party to jumpstart the year. YPC celebrates the previous year and looks forward to the future as an organization. If you're new to YPC, this event is a great opportunity to network with other young professionals.
