With more than 130 vendors, the Downtown Winter Farmers’ Market features vendors of all varieties and backgrounds. During weekends in November and December, they sell a variety of Iowa-raised meat, such as eggs, beef, pork, duck, turkeys and holiday hams, as well as late season and greenhouse produce. There are also sellers with handmade products including locally produced honey, jams, salsa, wine, cheese, noodles, breads, pies and cinnamon rolls. Shoppers can also find poinsettias, fresh-cut Christmas trees, wreaths, handmade holiday ornaments and home decorations. Check back this winter for a complete list of Winter Market vendors.
