Connecting Through YPC

It is often said that YPC is all about connections. Individuals join YPC for an opportunity to connect professionally, socially and philanthropically within Des Moines. In my almost two years in Des Moines, my life has been defined by the interactions and friendships made and fostered through YPC and our organization’s events. 

Upon joining YPC, I chose to join two committees and a handful of athletic teams, and it was through these smaller, consistent groups that I have made lasting and memorable friendships. I continue to utilize YPC to further my involvement in the greater Des Moines metro and expand my circle of friends. As a recent transfer to Des Moines, a May 2012 graduate, or a new member to YPC, I would highly encourage you to consider joining a YPC committee or athletic team. 

The YPC Membership Committee in conjunction with the YPC Board and YPC Ambassadors will be hosting an informational table at this Saturday’s Volleyballooza Charity Volleyball Tournament. Representatives from the leadership team and YPC’s various committees will be available to answer questions and introduce you to YPC.

9-10 a.m. — Civic and Business Relations

10-11 a.m. — Charitable/Nonprofit Forum and Impact Downtown

11-Noon — Diversity and Social

12-1 p.m. — Professional Development and Marketing

1-2 p.m. — Membership and Athletics
