ATI Physical Therapy Opens New Clinic in Iowa's Des Moines Community
BOLINGBROOK, Ill. (September 8, 2017) - ATI Physical Therapy announced today the opening of its newest Iowa clinic at 11895 Hickman Rd. in Urbandale. ATI Urbandale will offer the community access to physical therapy, sports medicine and workers’ compensation services from the nation’s leading physical therapy provider.
The Urbandale location marks ATI’s first clinic in the community and third in the state. Known for high quality of care and exceptional results, the energetic and motivating staff at ATI provides personalized treatment plans in an upbeat and fun atmosphere.
Welcoming patients at the new location is Iowa native John Brandt, DPT, ATC, LAT. John Brandt has over 12 years’ experience in sports medicine and rehabilitation. After achieving his bachelor’s in exercise science/athletic training from Central College in Pella, Iowa, he received his doctorate in physical therapy from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa. John enjoys working with a wide range of patients and specializes in functional exercises and therapeutic activities to return patients to an optimal level of function. John is certified in Functional Movement Screens (FMS) and works closely with the Iowa Youth Rugby Association, USA Rugby, and the International Rugby Board. He also has clinical experience in workers’ compensation/industrial rehabilitation, post-operative care, musculoskeletal pain, and postural/body mechanics education for further prevention of injury.

First appointments with all ATI clinics are scheduled within 24-48 hours, and early morning and evening hours are available to accommodate patient schedules. Rehabilitation services include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, strength training, cardiovascular conditioning, sports-specific training, and therapeutic modalities, such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
ATI offers expanded hours and complimentary screenings, plus accepts virtually all major insurance carriers.
