In 2017, more than 250 attendees packed out the FFA Enrichment Center at DMACC in Ankeny. Here are some of their takeaways:

“I think a lot of the takeaways I’ve come away with is how to stay energized in your small business and how to continue to stay true to your vision and goals but still to push yourself. I think we tend to get comfortable so all the ideas the presenters had to push yourself to that next level and really find your vision and remind yourself of it every day. It’s been really energizing for me.”

“I think the biggest thing for me as a takeaway event is that it’s about small business success and as small business owners you’re in it every single day and the most important thing that I think people got out of this today is that we need to take time out from working in their business to focus more time on their business. That’s something that’s been pretty profound to me as a business owner.”

This year’s Summit agenda includes three keynotes, 18 breakout sessions and opportunities to meet with 28 resource partners.

Keynote Speakers Include:

  • Whitney Cox, Small Business Manager at Google.
  • Meredith Elliot Powell, business growth expert and global keynote.
  • Joe Schmit, speaker, author and impact leadership expert.

Registration is $79 for Members and $99 for non-members. We look forward to seeing you there!

Organized by the Greater Des Moines Partnership, the purpose of the Small Business Success Summit is to inform, educate and inspire business owners in Greater Des Moines (DSM).
