You're invited to the Downtown Farmers' Market presented by UnityPoint Health this Saturday, June 20, 2026 from 7 a.m. until Noon! Join Opening Bell Ringer Miriam Erickson Brown and AE Dairy before shopping for Dad ahead of Father's Day. It's going to be a beautiful day in Downtown Des Moines (DSM) so get there early to check out this week's vendors, including local favorites for summer cookouts.
Schedule Highlights
This week, join presenting sponsor UnityPoint Health to visit with the Volunteer Services team, the Not Now Shop and furry friends from their pet therapy program! Live entertainment from Sharane Calister, The Travelers and others will perform as you shop, and you can find resources from Polk County Master Gardeners and ChildServe at The Market's Community Corner and special programming courtesy of Renewal By Andersen and Iowa Speedway. Vendors to Visit
Celebrate Father's Day by shopping local with the seven vendors below who offer items that would make a great gift for Dad, Grandpa or other significant father figure in your life. Check them out below, or see the complete list of Market vendors for June 20 here.
- 1032 Ventures: Head over to booth 4S-40 and 4S-50 to check out cutting boards, coasters, wallets and more from 1032 Ventures.
- Bozz Prints: Vintage-inspired and featuring local favorites, Bozz Prints is a great choice for a gift for Dad. Find shirts, art prints and more at booth C-415.
- Iowa Beard Company: At booth 4S-34, Iowa Beard Company offers handcrafted beard soaps, oils and more. If Dad's sporting facial hair, he'll love the products from Iowa Beard Co., based out of Des Moines.
- Otter Creek Produce & Garden Center: Pick up some vegetables from booths C-133 and C-135. Locally grown, the produce from Otter Creek is the perfect addition to one of Dad's favorite recipes.
- Saltlickers: Homemade seasoning salts Dad will love can be found at booth 3N-06. Find grilling seasonings and recipes on the Saltlickers website ahead of time, then stop by to purchase a spice blend or two this Saturday!
- The Good Butcher: Head to booth 4S-12 to grab some of the best local meats sourced from Iowa farms.
- Watson and Wallie Natural Dog Treats: Natural dog treats from the Watson and Wallie booth (2S-01) are perfect for Dad's best friend, so stock up on some chews this weekend!
