7th Annual Inclusion Forum is Nov. 15

GREATER DES MOINES, IA (Nov. 6, 2019) — The seventh annual Inclusion Forum is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 15 from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Ron Pearson Center in West Des Moines. The event’s theme is “Unlocking Human Potential” and will cultivate a community conversation surrounding diversity and inclusion opportunities in Greater Des Moines (DSM).

May E. Snowden, Senior Fellow in Human Capital and Program Director for two councils of The Conference Board focused on diversity and inclusion, will be the keynote speaker. She will present on how her commitment to developing new conscious awareness around the thoughts, beliefs and actions that lead to justice and equity among people has created a lasting impact. Previously serving as the Vice President of Global Diversity for Starbucks Coffee Company, Chief Diversity Officer for Eastman Kodak Company and Executive Director of Diversity for US West, Snowden brings more than 30 years of experience leading initiatives that strengthen corporate cultures and brand identification while improving relations with customers, vendors and the community.

To celebrate success, the Inclusion Forum will recognize the 2019 Inclusion Award Winner, Nationwide, to honor their diversity and inclusion initiatives within their business and in the community. Nationwide will also share their best practices on diversity and inclusion.
