One of the ways that commitment comes to life is through Deloitte’s annual Impact Day, a day of service that mobilizes professionals across the country to give back in tangible ways. Each year, Deloitte professionals can participate in more than 1,200 in-person and virtual projects in over 100 U.S. cities, supporting multi-year community commitments and building deeper connections with local organizations.
Pictured above is a team who volunteered at Oakridge Neighborhood on June 5, 2026, one of our 5 different Des Moines volunteer sites. On this day, our Deloitte professionals based in Des Moines stepped away from their day-to-day responsibilities to serve the community.
Our professionals volunteer in numerous other ways throughout the year, a few examples of which include United Way of Central Iowa kit building (pictured above), the Iowa Society of CPAs Month of Service initiative, Children & Families of Iowa Adopt-A-Family program along with board / committee service. These opportunities are more than volunteering—they are about connection and teamwork. It reminds us that strong teams are built through shared experiences, and that giving back is one of the most meaningful ways to live our values.
