2019 Des Moines Corporate Games Company Divisions Announced
DES MOINES, Iowa, March 19, 2019 — The Des Moines Corporate Games (DMCG) has announced company divisions for the fourth annual competition.
A record seventy-five companies will compete in four divisions, grouped together by general company size. Points are awarded throughout the competition based on sport/event placing, participation and volunteerism.
“The Des Moines Corporate Games has grown tremendously over the first three years, and that trend is continuing for 2019” said Chuck Long, CEO of the Des Moines Corporate Games. “Our fourth year of competition is going to be a great one.”
The top companies in each division will receive recognition, with the winning company in each division receiving the coveted Corporate Games Cup during the Iowa State Fair.
Employees of participating companies can begin declaring for events on Wednesday, April 3. A kickoff party will be held June 1, and competition will begin June 2 with the Des Moines Fitness Walk. Follow along this summer at dmcorporategames.org.

About the Corporate Games
The Des Moines Corporate Games is a project of the Iowa Sports Foundation and the Greater Des Moines Partnership. The company-based competition, starting June 1 and ending July 31, enables and supports teamwork, company pride and corporate wellness through healthy competition. There are 25 activities that include both competitive and non-competitive events. All events are held in the evenings and on weekends.
