What inspired you to first get involved with your Chamber?

I joined Norwalk Chamber of Commerce to get involved with my community and grow my business connections.

What’s a signature offering of your Chamber?

We are offering a new benefit to new Members this year that has been successful. During the onboarding process, the Grow Norwalk Ambassadors visit new Members, invite them to the next Chamber event and then create a short intro video of the new Member and let them introduce themselves and their business. This video gets put out to our membership through our e-newsletter and on our social media. This way the new member feels welcomed and still gets introduced to the entire membership.

What is your Chamber’s biggest accomplishment in the past 12 months?

Our biggest accomplishment has been creating a new onboarding process for new Members.

Any initiative or project that you are looking forward to in 2018?

I’m looking forward to improving our Norwalk Nexus app to connect the community, school, businesses and city better.
