Shop Local for Father's Day 2020 at Historic Valley Junction
Father’s Day is a day of honoring fatherhood and paternal bonds, as well as the influence of fathers on society. If this were a typical year, my family and I would be planning our traditional Father’s Day picnic where we all gather (four generations of us) and celebrate the fathers in our lives. But since this is anything but a typical year, we’re not getting together in person and our weekly family Zoom meeting will have to suffice.
However, the one Father’s Day tradition — gifting our fathers with an item that they typically would not purchase themselves — is one tradition that COVID-19 will not take from us this year. I cannot wait to see their faces when they open the fun and unique gifts, purchased for them in Historic Valley Junction. I’m thrilled to share some fun gift ideas that can be found in walkable Historic Valley Junction — gifts that any Father would be happy to open on Father’s Day or any day!
