What do you do? Marketing Associate for LS2group

What’s a day in your job like? No two days are the same, which I love! On any given day, I could be planning a media buy and placing ads for a client or strategizing their next social media campaign. My team is super fun, so I love collaborating with them any chance we get.

What are your passions outside of work? When you’re not at work, what will we find you doing? I enjoy volunteering with Make-A-Wish. I did a lot with them in college and wanted to continue volunteering after I graduated. When I’m not at work, you will most likely find me with my dog, Bear.

Where’s your favorite (something) in Greater Des Moines (DSM)? My favorite thing(s) in Des Moines are anything local, whether it’s a restaurant, brewery or small shop.

What role has mentorship played in your career? Having mentors that trust me and want to see me grow and succeed has played a huge role in my career. I am lucky to have multiple mentors to turn to.

What’s a piece of career advice that has served you well? “Stick it out” and “Don’t quit” have been recurring career advice I’ve received over the years, and although I may not have known it at the time, I believe now that it’s been some of the best career advice I’ve received.

What projects have you been involved with in YPC? I’ve played small roles on the Marketing and Social committees over the past couple years.
