Update on YPC Events

2013 Updates and a Preview of What's to Come in 2014

The past few months have been very busy for Young Professionals Connection (YPC). Some of the great events that have taken place in Greater Des Moines (DSM) include:

• YP Leaders Symposium
• World Food Prize Ceremonies
• A new concept “Coffee Talk”
• Trivia Night
• Morning Meetup at the ReWall Company
• Happy Hours & Lunch and Learns

There is never a lack of events occurring when you look a the YPC Calendar!

 

As we approach the end of the year, we focus on what is left to come. One of YPC’s signature events on the calendar every year is the Annual Gala. This year the Annual Gala is taking place on Wednesday Dec. 4, starting at 6 p.m. The venue this year is new, the Embassy Club Downtown (34^th floor of the Ruan Building). A FREE event with great food, great networking, and a great recap of 2013 in YPC; followed by a preview to the 2014 year in YPC!

Another great event taking place this fall is a new event called “Thanks Giving.” A collaboration between Impact Downtown and Volunteer committees — has brought a long a great opportunity to give back to the community.  The event will take place on Thanksgiving, starting at 5:30 p.m. Check the YPC website for more details.

 

Have an interest in joining the YPC Board for 2014? Currently YPC is accepting applications for the 2014 YPC Board. This is a great opportunity to make a difference in DSM and get involved! Check the website for more details, as it is time sensitive.
