West48: A Modern Take on Conference Centers

Meet Des Moines' new unique, modern conference center.

Located at the intersection of Westown Parkway and 48th Street in West Des Moines, Iowa, West48 is a fun, modern take on the conference center. It's built for any event: business presentations, breakfasts, lunches, workshops, retreats, happy hours, and more.

The main space fits 150+ people and features two 11-ft screens and a monitor for presenters. The stage backdrop, lighting and display screens are completely customizable to match companies’ brand logos and colors.

This isn’t a typical event venue. Guests are encouraged to hang out and spend time at West48. A game room with a shuffleboard table, ping pong, foosball, TVs, video games, and a putting mat, along with casual bleacher seating for spectators, is available during all events.

West48 also includes three breakout rooms, room for mingling, comfortable seating areas, and a kitchen.
