Learn About the 2020 Session with Legislative Leadership Luncheon on Dec. 5
GREATER DES MOINES, IOWA (Nov. 19, 2019) – The Greater Des Moines Partnership will unveil its 2020 State Legislative Agenda at its Legislative Leadership Luncheon on Thursday, Dec. 5. The event will take place from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden.
Leaders in the Iowa State Legislature will speak and participate in a panel discussion previewing the 2020 legislative session of the 88th General Assembly. Speakers will be:
- Senate Majority Leader Jack Whitver (R – Ankeny)
- Senate Minority Leader Janet Petersen (D – Des Moines)
- House Majority Leader Matt Windschitl (R – Missouri Valley)
- House Minority Whip Jo Oldson (D – Des Moines)
Event registration is $35 for Partnership Investors and Affiliate Chamber Members as well as Iowa Legislators and Legislative Staff. The event is $45 for nonmembers. Lunch will be served beginning at 11:15 a.m. with an 11:30 program.
