Greater Des Moines Partnership Announces DSM Employment Ready Initiative
GREATER DES MOINES, IA (March 23, 2020) – The Greater Des Moines Partnership today launched the DSM Employment Ready initiative to assist businesses in need of immediate temporary workers and employees who have been impacted due to circumstances related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Through this initiative, The Partnership will maintain a list of Greater Des Moines (DSM) companies looking to rapidly hire for open positions as well as serve as a resource for employers and employees with up-to-date information relating to State and Federal assistance programs.
“We understand the impact of COVID-19 is far-reaching,” said Mary Bontrager, Executive Vice President of Talent Development at the Greater Des Moines Partnership. “DSM Employment Ready is a place where businesses can share immediate hiring needs and job seekers can find temporary employment opportunities. It’s a place that will also provide up-to-date employment resources and information relating to rapidly changing employment environment.”
