Taking Care of Business
The Business Relations team has been working diligently this year to build relationships with businesses in Greater Des Moines (DSM). We have organized the member discounts on the Young Professionals Connection (YPC) website and have brought new discounts to our YPC members.
Member Discounts
Member discounts are now categorized for ease of viewing in the following categories: clothing, discount cards, entertainment, food & beverage, stores, services and more and wellness.
New this year: Urban515 Card, a new discount for Des Moines Social Club, Civic Center, Urge Party Bus, Blank Park Zoo, Des Moines Menace, Tartine, Dixie’s Campus Cleaners, and Kosama. We also now have a link to the Greater Des Moines Convention & Visitors Bureau’s discounts you can take advantage of as well!
There are also shorter term/one-time discounts available from time to time, so make sure you are always keeping an eye on the YPC Blog and check the website so you are aware of new discounts that are added.
Our team has also been busy building relationships with businesses in Des Moines to bring you opportunities to experience and learn outside the usual meeting space. In August, Wellmark will be hosting a Diversity & Inclusion lunch, Suku Radia will kick off our Non-Profit month and many other really cool opportunities are in the planning stages. Stay tuned for more information!
