Des Moines Arts Festival® and Silent Rivers Design+Build Announce RESONANT FiELDS Reception

May 24, 2018

Des Moines, IA May 24, 2018 — Silent Rivers Design+Build and the Des Moines Arts Festival® announce the return of one of their collaborations, a roving gallery called #DMAFcurated. The second annual exhibition, “RESONANT FiELDS,” will open June 1 at Mars Café and will stay on exhibit through June 20, when it will move to Western Gateway Park as part of the Festival. The event can be found on Facebook here.

"Curation of the art we select for our homes provides a deeper narrative about why we purchase and collect, generating a collective story about the artwork and our relationship with it,” said Chaden Halfhill, artist, sculptor and founder of Silent Rivers Design+Build.

About DMAF Curated: RESONANT FiELDS

DMAF Curated is an extension to the Des Moines Arts Festival and its vision to strengthen a vibrant and creative community. It is an example of how to bring together, or curate, a personal collection of art that resonates both as individual pieces and a cohesive collection that inspires a deeper appreciation of the world around us.

The art show will be on display at Mars Cafe until it moves to the Rivers VIP Club on the grounds of the Des Moines Arts Festival, where the exhibit will expand into a creative experience with arts and culture programs and conversations complemented by Mars Cafe beverages and light fare.

The VIP experience is available by purchasing a tax-deductible patron package to ensure this award-winning festival remains a free and vital part of our community’s culture. Learn more here: desmoinesartsfestival.com/patron.
