Nominations Open for 2025 Iowa Business Hall of Fame

GREATER DES MOINES, IA (Oct. 29, 2025) – The Greater Des Moines Committee is now accepting nominations for the 2025 Iowa Business Hall of Fame through Friday, Nov. 21 at 4 p.m.

The Hall of Fame honors Iowans whose leadership and achievements have made outstanding contributions to the state’s business climate and economic growth.

Nominations may be submitted by members of the Greater Des Moines Committee or by other Iowa business leaders by completing the official nomination form. All submissions are reviewed by a selection committee comprised of past Iowa Business Hall of Fame honorees, under the leadership of current Greater Des Moines Committee Chair, Dr. Adreain Henry, President of Mercy College of Health Sciences.

  • Inductees are selected on merit rather than endorsement. The measurable results of their leadership should reflect a significant economic impact. Honorees are evaluated on six key criteria:

      • Business leadership
      • Business recognition
      • Community development impact
      • Community volunteerism/leadership
      • Strategic leadership
      • Additional qualifications
      • The 2025 inductees will be recognized at the Iowa Business Hall of Fame Induction Dinner on April 16, 2026, at The Meadows Events & Conference Center at Prairie Meadows in Altoona. Registration will open following the close of the nomination period.

      • View the full selection criteria here and a list of past inductees on the Iowa Business Hall of Fame website. For more information, contact Anna Regole, Events & Project Specialist at The Partnership.
