This Week at The Market: Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026
Shop vendors, enjoy live entertainment and take part in family-friendly activities at the Downtown Farmers' Market presented by Unitypoint Health. There are just two weeks left to stock up on local fall finds. Ring in The Market with Opening Bell Ringer Alyssa Nelson with the Principal Foundation and Spark DSM Business Incubator at 8 a.m. at the corner of 3rd and Court in Downtown Des Moines (DSM). UnityPoint Health will also be onsite with team members from the John Stoddard Cancer Center.
Mark your calendar for the final Downtown Farmers' Market of the season on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2026 — it will be a Halloween celebration you won't want to miss!
Vendors to Visit
Stop by the Spark DSM vendors, Luvcat Baking Co. and Rachel Reloaded, on Court Avenue between Second and Third Streets! You can find the complete list of Market vendors for Oct. 24 here, and don't forget to the check out the seven recommended vendors for this week:
- By Wisteria: At booth 4N-25, find 100% soy wax candles, donut soaps and natural sugar scrub in scents like Cashmere Plum, Coffee Shop and Oatmilk and Spice.
- Feral Flavors: This Saturday, Feral Flavors is releasing four exclusive Halloween hot sauces ... only made once! Check them out at booth 4S-21.
- Great River Maple: Stop by booth C-137 to buy maple syrup and more, including Bourbon-Aged, Cinnamon-Infused and Coffee pure maple syrup.
- Karley's Collection: Hand-drawn artwork on clothing, tote bags and more can be found at booth 4S-19 — check out what Karley had at The Market last weekend! Also, take a look at the waterproof stickers and bag charms made from recycled jewelry.
- Say Cheese Des Moines: Take a bite into a gourmet grilled cheese at booths 4S-51 b and 4S-53! These October sandwiches are so good — The Souper (classic with bruschetta sauce), Hot Ham and Cheese and the Honey Badger (local honey with garlic cheddar) — and this is your chance to try them!
- The Side Garage: The Side Garage turned 10! Support this local print and design shop by purchasing from booth C-306 and ensuring their success for another 10!
- Zimma & Zekes: Fabric headbands are all the rage at The Market, and you can find Halloween designs this Saturday at booth 4S-08.
Schedule Highlights
Live entertainment from Mr. Magic Productions, Vagabond Grove and more will entertain Marketgoers this weekend, while the Community Corner will host Deeper Life Church as Saturday Salutes at The Market. A full list of entertainers and other programming is available here.
