This Week at The Market: Saturday, May 16, 2026

Rise and shine for the Downtown Farmers' Market this Saturday, May 16, 2026 from 7 a.m. until Noon in the Historic Court District of Downtown Des Moines (DSM). Help Life 107.1 ring the Opening Bell at the corner of 3rd Street and Court Avenue before exploring Market vendors, including the seven vendors highlighted below.

Vendors to Visit

Shop local at produce and ag, prepared food and winery vendors, among many others, at The Market this weekend! These vendors will be on-site to help you find fresh greens for a new recipe, a pupusa to enjoy while you stroll or an award-winning bottle of wine from a winery in Letts, Iowa. You can also check out the complete list of Market vendors for May 16 here.

  • Ardon Creek Vineyard & Winery: Pick up a bottle of local wine at booth 4S-37. Heading east after The Market? Check out the winery's new tasting room, The Creek: An Ardon Creek Lounge, in Letts, Iowa.
  • Crooked Gap Farm: All items are raised on the 40-acre farm, so you can enjoy Iowa-grown product when you purchase from booth 2S-02.
  • Happy Home Coffee: Every Saturday, you'll find Happy Home Coffee outside the Stuffed Olive at booth C-220 so you can get your cup of Joe before you stroll.
  • Meadowlark Farm: You've got to try the bagels being prepared at booths 4s-38, 4S-40 and 4S-42 by Meadowlark Farm. Using their own eggs and pork, Meadowlark Farm partners with 5 Borough Bagels and Hinterland Dairy to provide delicious locally-produced breakfast bagels.
