This week's Downtown Farmers' Market presented by UnityPoint Health is focused on healthy living. Join the Opening Bell Ringers from the Iowa Healthiest State Initiative and the Double Up Food Bucks Program at the corner of 3rd Street and Court Avenue at the start of The Market at 7 a.m. UnityPoint Health will also have Food and Nutrition team members on-site so stop by their booth to learn more!

Vendors to Visit

In honor of the Des Moines Arts Festival also happening this weekend in Downtown DSM, check out these seven artists selling at the Downtown Farmers' Market, or see the complete list of Market vendors, including produce and prepared food vendors, for June 27 here

  • Bittersweet Designs: At booth C-213, there are plenty of handcrafted earrings and other jewelry to find by Marshalltown artist Sarah Schutt.
  • Caroline Freese Designs: Ceramics, paintings and digital designs in an animal folk style are waiting for you to purchase on Saturday. Head to booth 5N-09 to find a wide selection of items.
  • DSM Foundry: There are so many cool art-ish pieces to be found at booth 4N-32, including wood travel maps, stadium trackers, state parks passports, coloring boards and more.
  • Fern & Co.: This woman-owned original artwork vendor offers art prints, greeting cards and more. Fern & Co.'s owner Nicole invites Marketgoers to booth 2S-16 to check out her art and small plant items.
  • Nature & Glass: Find stained glass and pressed flower art at booth 4S-36. Items featuring pheasant feathers or an encased spider web are a few of the unique examples from Nature & Glass.
  • Room 1021: Art for educators is bountiful at booth 4S-32. From posters to apparel to accessories like stickers, Room 1021 is supporting teachers, educators and school lovers with a ton of cool products. See the booth at a previous Market event here.
  • The Permanent Collection Letterpress + Design Studio: Artist Sarah McCoy offers vintage printed cards and prints at Market booth 4S-06, all created at her shop in Des Moines.
