Top 5 Reasons to Attend the YPC Mad Hatter Volleyball Tournament

The end to summer is just around the corner. Pretty soon we’ll be sipping on our Pumpkin Spice Lattes and staring out the windows seeing the beauty we call autumn. Summer’s not gone yet, though, and we want to make sure your summer goes out with a bang … and a bump, set and spike. That’s right, I’m talking about volleyball. What better way to end the summer than to spend an afternoon playing sand volleyball with friends?

Join the Young Professionals Connection (YPC) on Sept. 19 for one last summer hurrah! This won’t be just any old volleyball tournament, either. We’re putting together a fun Mad Hatter-style tournament that’ll knock your socks of (or fill them with sand?).

Why You Should Attend the Mad Hatter Volleyball Tournament

Meet New People 

Mad Hatter-style tournaments are a great way to meet a lots of new people rather quickly. Each player will rotate courts after 20 minutes of play and a brief 10-minute beverage break. So you'll potentially play on a team with at least 48 different people! Not sure about you, but I like those odds! 

Strengthen Team Building Skills

Throughout the day you'll be developing your team building skills as volleyball is all about working together. Because, let’s be honest, who doesn't enjoy team-building activities?

Play on the Largest Outdoor Sand Volleyball Complex in the U.S. 

To the Sand Volleyball Club's knowledge they are still the largest outdoor sand volleyball complex in the United States with 21 total courts.  And let me tell you, their sand is choice!  

Indulge in Your Choice of Burgers or Brats 

Yes, you read that right! Food will be provided for all participants who register! There will be a cash bar available as well so you can wet your whistle during and after games.
