The Adel Partners Chamber’s strategic plan for 2021 is a four-prong approach centered on CONNECT to our businesses, residents and guests to our community.

Welcome to Adel, a town where charm meets adventure. A great place to work, live and raise a family, Adel is also a fun destination to visit because there is always something going on that the whole family can enjoy — farmers markets, parades, festivals, summer concerts and more.
Adel and our businesses offer numerous programs and activities, including specials and events, networking activities, tourism efforts, educational programs and the coordination of several festivals each year. Whether you are a business owner, community member or a visitor, the This Is Adel Facebook group is a place to find the happenings — events, activities and anything fun — in Adel.
We are part of the Adel Partners Chamber of Commerce, and we hope our residents and visitors enjoy all the fun things to do and see in our charming town!
Business and Economic Development
This committee works to better Adeel/DeSoto and the surrounding area. Broadband and highlighting our agriculture connections is the focus for 2021. Adel/DeSoto has seven international agricultural companies located in our backyard: Hy-Line International, Valo, EW Nutrition, Stine Seed, Hawkeye Breeders, Vencomatic and All States Ag Parts.
Trail
A major project was completed along the Raccoon River Valley Trail between Nile Kinnick Dr. and the Raccoon River in the fall of 2020. This included landscaping, art and lighting the bridge on the trail over the Raccoon River. An Iowa Art Council grant, Dallas County Foundation grant and MidAmerican Energy grant, as well as donations from developers, home builders and the City of Adel, helped to complete this project. We invite you to bike, run or walk the RRVT in Adel and experience our completed project.
Marketing
This committee is working diligently to update Adel Partners.org by Monday, April 22, 2021 and create new logos for all our events and programs. The CONNECT story is being told loud and clear. As a Chamber we are here to CONNECT residents, businesses and visitors in our charming community.
As Board Chair for 2021 I am excited to help lead the charge of these four strategic plans while creating our new normal. I love the Adel/DeSoto communities and helping them grow and thrive.

Kristi Fuller
Kristi Fuller is the board president for the Adel Partners Chamber of Commerce. She works as a personal banker, AVP at Lincoln Savings Bank.
