Ankeny Kiwanis Club’s Community Easter Egg Hunt

Four age groups will hunt for eggs at Hawkeye Park, with an Accessible Hunt at Miracle League Field on Saturday, March 23 at 9:30 a.m. Age groups include 1-2, 3-4, 5-6 and 7-8. The event will also include pictures with the Easter Bunny. A rain date is set for Saturday, March 30.

Easter Egg Hunt in Central Park

Pella’s Central Park is the location of this annual egg hunt. Age groups of 0-4 and 5-8 can search for eggs on Saturday, March 23 from 10:30 – 11 a.m.

Egg Hunt on the Hill

On Saturday, March 23, Terrace Hill will host the annual Egg Hunt on the Hill from 1 – 2:30 p.m. The event will include photos with the Easter Bunny. Registration is required and will close once capacity is reached. Email molly.thompson@governor.iowa.gov to RSVP.

Downtown Grinnell business owners will host an Easter Egg Hunt on Friday, March 29 from 3 – 5 p.m. Look for an Easter Egg Hunt sign in the windows of participating businesses.

Glowtastic Egg Hunt

The Des Moines Children’s Museum will host a Glowtastic Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 23, Friday, March 29 and Saturday, March 30 from 6 – 8 p.m., with sensory-friendly hours from 5 – 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Admission is $10 per child and kids can hunt glow-in-the-dark eggs for as long as they want!

Easter Brunch at Gilroy’s

Easter brunch at Gilroy’s Kitchen, Pub + Patio in West Des Moines will include delicious offerings such as scrambled eggs, buttermilk pancakes, pineapple upside down cake, smoked ham, fresh strawberries and more. Head to Norwalk’s McAninch Sports Complex on Saturday, March 30 from 8 – 9 p.m. for a flashlight egg hunt. The cost is $6 for resident children and $6.90 for non-resident children. This event is limited to 150 participants, so make sure you register prior to the deadline on Sunday, March 24.
