GREATER DES MOINES, IA (April 2, 2025) – The Greater Des Moines Partnership has announced the date and location for the second annual Regional Summit slated to take place on Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2025 at the Iowa Events Center.

The Regional Summit will provide opportunities for community, business and civic leaders in the 12-county region to connect, learn and collaborate on forward-thinking solutions. Event programming will foster dialogue and strategies that address various opportunities and challenges faced by rural, urban and suburban communities, with the goal of working together to advance Greater Des Moines (DSM) as a top region for economic development and talent development.

“Last year’s Regional Summit exceeded expectations and reaffirmed just how powerful it is when our region comes together,” said Tiffany Tauscheck, President & CEO of The Partnership. “We’re pleased to bring the Regional Summit back in 2025 to continue strengthening relationships, sharing ideas and collaborating across rural, urban and suburban communities. Our region’s momentum is fueled by our ability to unite around shared goals, create opportunities and solve problems collaboratively. We are stronger together, and the Summit plays a key role in advancing our region’s collective progress.”

Additionally, participants are invited to attend The Partnership's annual Economic Impact Awards during lunch at the Regional Summit. A 40-year tradition, the Economic Impact Awards recognize local companies for their contribution toward the economic and community vitality of DSM.
