Save the Date for the 2022 Future World of Work Summit
GREATER DES MOINES, IA (Aug. 26, 2022) – The Greater Des Moines Partnership will host the inaugural Future World of Work Summit on Monday, Oct. 24. The purpose of the Future World of Work Summit is to inform, educate and inspire the business community in Greater Des Moines (DSM). This half-day event will highlight ways employers can adapt and thrive in the work and learning ecosystems of tomorrow. The summit will take place at the FFA Enrichment Center in Ankeny from 1 – 5:30 p.m.
The Summit programming will include an interactive session to gather hyper-local perspectives on innovation, a panel discussion of local industry leaders, and conversations with nationally recognized thought leaders and futurists. Keynote speakers will include Kermit Kaleba, Strategy Director at Lumina Foundation, an Indianapolis-based foundation that is committed to making opportunities for learning beyond high school available to all, and Casey Welch, CEO and Co-founder of Tallo, a student and professional recruitment platform.
“The Future World of Work Summit will help inspire attendees to think beyond the immediate future and begin to prepare for long-term talent development trends,” said Katherine Atkinson, Director of Workforce for The Partnership. “The summit will help attendees prepare and react to the future of the workforce by arming them with immediate and tangible solutions to keep a competitive advantage.”
