Registration Open for DSM 202ONE Annual Kickoff

GREATER DES MOINES, IA (Friday, Dec. 4, 2020) — Registration is now open for the Greater Des Moines Partnership’s DSM 202ONE Annual Kickoff featuring keynote speaker Nick Nurse, head coach of the NBA’s Toronto Raptors and Iowa native. The event will take place virtually on Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021 from 7:30 – 9 a.m.

The virtual event provides a variety of options for admission including individual Member and non-member tickets as well as Small Business, Corporate and Community Champion Packages. Each option provides the opportunity to support local Greater Des Moines (DSM) businesses with a #DSMlocal Box, which will include a variety of local products from DSM businesses across the region.

The pricing structure is as follows:

  • Individual Member:
    • $25 for 1 Event Link
    • $75 for 1 Event Link + 1 #DSMlocal Box
  • Individual Non-Member:
    • $50 for 1 Event Link
    • $100 for 1 Event Link + #DSMlocal Box
  • Small Business:
    • $500 for 15 Event Links + 5 #DSMlocal Boxes
  • Corporate:
    • $1,000 for 40 Event Links + 10 #DSMlocal Boxes (delivered to one location)
  • Community Champion:
    • $2,000 for 100 Event Links + 10 #DSMlocal Boxes, 1 signed Nick Nurse Rapture Book (box delivery to one location), recognition during event

The event will feature Nick Nurse, head coach of the Toronto Raptors of the National Basketball Association, as the keynote speaker. Nurse is a native of Carroll and has been the head coach of the Toronto Raptors since 2018 after serving as an assistant coach for the previous five years. Nurse led the Raptors to the 2019 NBA Championship and was named 2019-20 NBA Coach of the Year. Nurse coached the Iowa Energy from 2007 – 2011, where he was named NBA D-League Coach of the Year in 2011. Nurse also coached at Grand View University from 1991 — 1993. He has coached teams from around the world during his 31-year career.

The Partnership’s DSM 202ONE Annual Kickoff will serve as a launch to 2021 as The Partnership will detail its strategic priorities for the year, as well as recap the economic and community development work completed in 2020. This event is the virtual format of The Partnership’s Annual Dinner traditionally held each January. The event will include an optional pre-show to start at 7:30 a.m. followed by the official program at 8 a.m. Register for the event on The Partnership’s website.
