Greater Des Moines Partnership to Host Untapped Talent Webinar on Recruiting Latinx Talent on Aug. 25
GREATER DES MOINES, IA (Aug. 11, 2022) — The Greater Des Moines Partnership will host an untapped talent webinar on the topic of recruiting Latinx talent on Thursday, Aug. 25. The event will take place virtually from 1 – 2:30 p.m.
Over 60.5 million Latinx people live in the United States, representing 18% of the population. This Partnership event will explain the importance of hiring Latinx talent and what next steps businesses can take to begin the recruiting process. The event will include a panel presentation followed by a Q&A session with local experts.
Panelists will include:
- Dr. Rich Salas, Chief Diversity Officer, Assistant Professor, Des Moines University
- Joe Gonzales, Executive Director at Latino Resources, Inc.
- More panelists will be announced as they are confirmed.
