Greater Des Moines Partnership, Capital Crossroads and Young Professionals Connection to Host Public Policy Issue Forum on Infrastructure
GREATER DES MOINES, IA (June 8, 2022) – The Greater Des Moines Partnership, Capital Crossroads and Young Professionals Connection (YPC) will hold a Public Policy Issue Forum on Infrastructure on Thursday, June 16 at Noon.
This forum will feature a panel discussion that will address how use of the dollars from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill and other public funding streams will be impacted by supply chain issues, inflation and talent shortages.

“The Public Policy issues forums are a great way for our community, area leaders and Partnership Members and Investors to come together to discuss important issues impacting the region,” said Andrea Woodard, Senior Vice President of Government Relations and Public Policy at The Partnership. “This event will give attendees a deeper insight into the infrastructure bill and answer questions about how the large investments will impact the region.”

This is part of a series of public policy forums throughout 2022 to explore issues impacting Greater Des Moines (DSM). Each forum will include a conversation of experts who will provide insights surrounding the policy implications of that priority issue. Future forums will take place every other month on the third Thursday of the month, including: Aug. 18, Oct. 20 and Dec. 15.
